Day 1: Arrival in Guatemala

When you arrive in Guatemala City, our team will be waiting for you and will take you to the hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Kaminal Juyu- Mixco Viejo – Antigua

Today, after breakfast, we are led to the archaeological site of Kaminal Juyu, which means the “Hill of the Dead.”

You can observe Mayan ceremonies and walk around the area in this place.

Then we are going to another important archaeological site Mixco Viejo; you will be guided around the plazas and temples.

Then you are going to be transferred to the hotel in Antigua.

Day 3: Antigua Guatemala

After breakfast, start your cultural tour in the UNESCO World Heritage Destination of Antigua Guatemala.

You will visit ruins of colonial churches, buildings with Spanish baroque-influenced architecture, museums, art galleries, markets, and more.

Day 4: Antigua- Iximche- Takalik Abaj

In the morning, you will be transferred to the Iximché Archaeological Site, a city full of richness and natural beauty that perished when the Spanish conquerors arrived and subdued the Cakchiquel people.

Hence, it was necessary to move Guatemala City to its second capital.

Then you are going to be transferred to the hotel in Takalik Abaj.

Day 5: Takalik Abaj – Antigua

Today, you are visiting the Takalik Abaj archaeological site. This pre-Columbian site was an important center of commerce, trading with Kaminal Juyu.

You will be guided around their plazas and buildings, which present a variety of styles.

Then you will be transferred to Antigua.

Day 6: Antigua – Copan

You will leave the city of Antigua Guatemala, toward Copan; this is a 6 hours trip through the eastern region of Guatemala.

When you arrive, you will go directly to the hotel to register.

Then you will head to the Copan archaeological site for  a guided archaeological experience to discover the magnificence of this Mayan site on

Day 7: Copan- Quirigua- Flores

Today we are leaving for another fantastic archaeological site in Guatemala, Quirigua.

You are guided around the big central plaza and the Acropolis. You will be able here to observe birds and visit the museum.

Then you are going to be transferred to Flores.

One night of lodging in the Flores area.

Day 8: Flores- Ceibal – Aguateca

Today, be ready for an adventure in the Archaeological site El Ceibal, whose name references the number of ceibas in the area.

First, you are doing a guided tour of the site and watching the place’s incredible flora and fauna.

Then you are going to be transferred to the hotel in Aguateca. Today we will overnight at Chiminos Lodge.

Day 9: Aguateca- Tikal

Today, you should be ready to introduce yourself to the archaeological site of Aguateca.

Pre-hispanic constructions surround this place. You can find here mysterious cliffs and extensive plains of singular beauty.

Then you will be transferred to the hotel in Tikal.

Day 10: Uaxactun- Tikal Sunset

Uaxactun is considered an Ancient city that began the evolution of architecture in the Maya lowlands.

You will be doing a guided tour around these beautiful places’ stelae, temples, plazas, and palaces.

Then you will go back to Tikal to end the day by watching the fantastic sunset from one of the temples of the archaeological site.

Day 11: Tour in Tikal

Today, be ready to be introduced to a majestic world. You will be transferred to one of the greatest civilizations that habited here thousands of years ago, Tikal.

You can travel through the history by a guided tour around the main public plazas and some temples and palaces of Tikal.

Day 12: Tikal- Yaxha- Topoxte- Guatemala

Today we go to the archaeological site of Yaxha and Topoxte.

Yaxha means “green water” built on islets and connected to the land between canals and access roads.

In Yaxha, you can find a lot of birds, crocodiles, and other species of fauna and flora. Then we are moving to Topoxte, which is inside Yaxha.

Its name means “seed of the Ramon” It is a kind of tree that is very high in proteins.

This site is surrounded by water, jungle, and beautiful Mayan architectonic.

After visiting these places, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Guatemala City.
